The Rattles - Beat made in Germany
When the Beatles played in Hamburg in the fall of 1960, a close friendship between Herbert Hildebrandt and Achim Reichel formed a band: The Rattles. Forty-five years later, the original members of this still-active band look back on an extremely influential period. The first successes of this all-star club were the England tour with the Rolling Stones, who were the opening band for the Rattles, the Bravo-Blitz tour in 1966 with the Beatles, who are for the first time ever on DVD, and reconfigurations of the band´s line-up, which reached its peak with the mega hit „The Witch“. All the hits of the most important German bands are on this DVD. Interviews with people who were there at the time, for example James Last. The bonus material of the DVD includes solo projects of the Rattles, for example Wonderland, Randy Pie, and Moti Special.
