Canadian Brass

Canadian Brass is the world's most famous and successful brass quintet. The capella was formed by Charles Daellenbach and Eugene Watts in 1970, their goal being to explore the many-faceted musical possibilities of the brass instrument genre. Their limitless repertoire spans a huge musical range from baroque through to modern easy listening and Canadian Brass manages a seamless transition through these styles. The ensemble has played over 5,000 concerts worldwide and boasts more than 60 commercial releases. They are also famous for their distinguishing trademark: their band uniform, consisting of tailcoats and white training shoes, which they wear at every performance.
The DVD "Live in Germany" shows them during their successful 1994 tour performing in the "Alten Oper" in Frankfurt.
